Frequently Asked Questions

Typical sets include: valid passport, digital photo meeting INZ specs, proof of funds (recent bank statements/employment), a short purpose/itinerary (tourism/family/business), and civil-status or support letters if relevant. We label files exactly to INZ’s upload rules so officers can review quickly.

INZ looks for credible genuine-intention and sufficient-means evidence. We align your job letter, bank flow, and travel plan so your story is consistent across forms and documents—this is where many DIY files go wrong.

We act as your project manager: check waiver/NZeTA vs. Visitor-Visa, build your Immigration Online file, prepare and label every document, book the Dubai/Abu Dhabi NZ VAC if biometrics are requested, and monitor the case until decision. You’ll get clear, proactive updates—no chasing portals.

Visit us at 408 Nasser Lootah Building, Bur Dubai or Office 301A, API Tower, Trade Center. Prefer not to travel? We offer free document pick-up & drop in nearby Dubai areas (simple courier for farther locations). We’ll start the same day you send your scans.

Processing times fluctuate by season and workload. INZ publishes live wait-time pages (weekly snapshots and monthly stats) so we can set realistic expectations for Visitor Visas and NZeTAs before you book anything non-refundable.

Our job is to remove avoidable delays: complete forms, correct file formats, fast responses to any extra-information requests, and tight follow-up on your biometrics and decision.

It depends on your passport. If your nationality is on New Zealand’s visa-waiver list, you usually don’t apply for a visitor visa in advance—you travel with a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) and get permission to visit on arrival (generally up to 3 months; some nationalities like UK get up to 6). If your nationality is not on the waiver list, you must apply for a Visitor Visa online before you fly. We check your passport against INZ’s tool and route you to the right path before we build your file.

Your NZeTA is requested online (or via the official app), is valid for 2 years, and can be used for multiple trips while valid. We handle the NZeTA or Visitor-Visa application end-to-end for you, keep scans in the correct format, and time everything to your travel dates.

New Zealand issues eVisas—no sticker is normally placed in your passport. Your grant notice lives in your online account and can be verified electronically by airlines and authorities. We give you a travel pack with the grant letter and how to show it if asked.

If you renew your passport later, we’ll help transfer the eVisa to your new passport details so check-in and border control stay smooth.

If you travel on an NZeTA (visa-waiver passport), you’re typically allowed up to 3 months per visit (some nationalities up to 6), and the NZeTA is valid for 2 years for multiple trips. We’ll confirm what applies to your passport before we file.

If you apply for a Visitor Visa, INZ can grant stays up to 6–9 months depending on your circumstances and history. We’ll shape the request to your itinerary and evidence so the conditions are clear on your grant.

Yes. INZ accepts online applications from anywhere. What matters is that, when biometrics are required, you attend an NZ VAC—you can use Dubai/Abu Dhabi or any other VAC worldwide that fits your travel. We’ll time that appointment to your plans.

We also help structure your evidence of lawful stay in the UAE at the time you visit the centre, so you’re processed without hiccups.

INZ enforces specific file sizes and dimensions for digital photos and documents. If uploads fail, it’s usually sizing/format or background issues; we re-size, re-shoot if needed, and re-upload to pass validation the first time.

We also name and index files the way officers expect to see them (passport, photo, funds, employment, itinerary), which speeds up assessment versus a messy upload bucket

Applications are online via INZ’s system (ImmiAccount / Immigration Online). We set up or manage the account for you, complete the forms, upload evidence (funds/employment/travel plan), and pay online. INZ may later ask for biometrics—we’ll watch your account for that letter so you don’t miss it.

Once lodged, we move you through the rest: booking your biometrics slot (if requested), monitoring status, and making any extra uploads INZ asks for. You’ll get clear updates from us until a decision is issued.

In Dubai, you’ll go to the New Zealand Visa Application Centre (ABCC/VAC) at WAFI Mall, Level 1, Phase 5, Umm Hurair 2. (Abu Dhabi also has a centre.) We’ll book the slot and send you a neat checklist for the day.

Biometrics are provided only after INZ issues a biometrics request for your application. We’ll track for that letter and schedule you promptly; you take your passport and appointment printout, we handle the rest of the admin.
